International research stages

PhD Students Exchange Programme with the University of Michigan

In the 2014 Summer four PhD students move from ICIQ to University of Michigan (UM) and vice versa for a 10 weeks stays. From the Chemistry Department of the UM, professors John Montgomery, Melanie Sanford, John Wolfe, Anne J. McNeil and Corey Stepheson were the groups participating in this programme. At ICIQ, the research groups hosting the UM PhD students were those of professors Miquel A. Pericàs, Antonio M. Echavarren, Ruben Martin, Kilian Muñiz and Paolo Melchiorre. The exchange programme with the University of Michigan also includes an annual symposium alternating in location between Ann Arbor and Tarragona, under the chairmanship of professors Antonio M. Echavarren (ICIQ) and John Montgomery (UM).
