Crysforma’s activity:
Crysforma provides complete scientific support for the discovery, analysis and scale-up of polymorphs, hydrates, amorphous phases, salts and co-crystals of active pharmaceutical ingredients or intermediates.
Crysforma has developed its own crystallization screening methodology based on the combination of several crystallization procedures. We use high-throughput crystallization systems controlled by highly skilled scientists to maximize the information drawn from each experiment (read more).
Highlights 2014
- Fundació Obra Social la Caixa has sponsored a project dedicated to the discovery and development of new co-crystals of 2 high demand APIs with solubility and bioavailability issues. The results of the project are currently being protected via patent application with the goal of licensing them to industry.
- At the end of 2014 Crysforma received additional funding from Fundació Obra Social ‘la Caixa’ to develop new services in the area of prediction of pharmaceutical co-crystals during 2015.
