Abstract
The research carried out in our group focuses on supramolecular chemistry, at the interfaces of both biology and materials sciences. At the end of a fruitful European Union network (ACSEPT project), we have studied the radiolysis and hydrolysis of previously developed ligands for the selective extraction of actinides and lanthanides from the nuclear waste. Most of our work deals however with biology-related topics and with the chemistry and self-assembly based on hydrogen bonding and metal-mediated assemblies.
Topics addressed
- Supramolecular chemistry
- Membrane carriers
- Molecular recognition
